Pray With Us

Prayer is not a secondary part of digital missions. It is one of the ways the whole Church participates in the work.

As our Digital Missionaries enter online spaces, build relationships, share the Gospel, and walk alongside people through difficult seasons, we depend on God to open doors, give wisdom, change hearts, protect our team, and provide for the work.

We invite you to pray with us for the ministry, the people we serve, and the growing work of Hope Digital Missions.

Open Doors for the Gospel

Pray that God would create opportunities for meaningful conversations and prepare people to hear and understand the Gospel.

Digital Missionaries

Pray for wisdom, courage, compassion, discernment, protection, endurance, and spiritual health for those serving in digital spaces.

The People We Meet

Pray for people carrying loneliness, addiction, doubt, church hurt, isolation, and other difficult circumstances. Ask God to reveal Himself and surround them with healthy Christian relationships.

Discipleship and the Local Church

Pray that online relationships would grow into spiritual formation, accountability, embodied Christian community, and connection with healthy local churches.
V

Provision and Partnership

Pray for the churches, donors, volunteers, resources, technology, and relationships needed to sustain and expand the work.

For the Ministry

Requests from inside Hope Digital Missions — our team, our programs, and the work ahead.

Our President, Ryan Wuflestad, has the opportunity to present at the Luis Palau Evangelism Lab in Washington, DC — introducing Hope Digital Missions to a few hundred evangelistically minded business, city, and church leaders, many of whom will be hearing for the first time about the influence for Christ happening in online spaces. We are excited to see what God does with it.

- That God would use it to connect us with the right people to further His purpose in HDM
- Clarity and boldness as our President presents
Our annual fundraiser comes in September. It is both an invitation for more people to hear what God is doing through Hope Digital Missions and the moment much of the coming year’s provision is decided.

- That God would bring more people to hear what He is doing through HDM
- That God would provide what we need for the year ahead
- That God would be glorified in and through the whole event
God is leading us to begin trainings that equip parents and the local church to reach people who are lost online. Our first parent training kicks off this fall.
Pray that it would genuinely help parents engage their children with healthy boundaries and wise modeling around technology — and that God would bring the parents who most need to be in the room.

- That God would bring the parents who need to be there to influence their children with God’s hope in the midst of the hopelessness online
HopeCon is where online relationships become embodied community — and for many who attend, the trip itself is a costly, courageous step. Pray now for the people God is already preparing to gather at the next HopeCon: for courage to come, provision to get there, and lasting fruit from what happens when they do.

- Courage for those deciding whether to make the trip
- That God would work in unmistakable ways in everyone who attends
- Provision for all who want to come but face financial barriers
- Fruit that outlasts the weekend — friendships, faith, and church connections

For Our Community

A member of our online community has been battling cancer for years. Pray for her complete healing, and that God would give her and her husband peace and endurance as this journey continues.

Pray for the men in our Fight For Freedom accountability group who are stepping up and battling against their sin. Pray that God would give them strength to flee temptation, humility to confess to others and open up about their struggles, and joy in the Lord as they take steps of victory.

A member of our community has been living with extreme pain. Her doctors have done everything they can, and short of God healing her it appears this is pain she will have to live with.

A member of our community is struggling to have enough for even his basic needs. Pray that God would provide, and that his dependence on God would grow and deepen as he learns to trust Him more and more.

Staff

Al Descheneau joins our team as Director of Missionary Care

We are grateful to welcome Al Descheneau to our staff and Digital Missionaries team, stepping into the much-needed role of Director of Missionary Care.

Al will focus on shepherding, encouraging, and equipping our missionaries so they can thrive both in their walk with Christ and in the ministries God has entrusted to them. He will partner with our directors to support the care and development of the team as we grow, and will help develop those who are interested in becoming Digital Missionaries but are new to the digital space.

We truly believe God has uniquely prepared him for this role, and we are excited to see how the Lord uses him to strengthen and care for our team.
